what is this site?
it's freuse.com! where you can post a free classifieds ad to give away anything you want for free. or, if you need something, post a request for it. we have two main goals: keeping millions of tons of reusable things out of landfills, and helping people give and receive freely within their community.
how do I see what's going on in my city?
you find your city by clicking on the "cities" link above. all cities are listed by state, and the states are listed alphabetically. just scroll down until you see your city.
where is my city?
if you cannot find your city, or anything nearby, ask us to add you city on the main
forum. you do not need to register in order to post anything! also be sure to keep checking back, as we are regularly adding new cities.
my city is listed, but there are no posts on it. whats up?
congratulations! you get to be the first one to post on freuse.com in your city. while our site is continually growing, there are some cities where it seems no one has heard of freuse. so it's your job to start with the first post, and then to spread the word to others within your city.
do I have to register in order to post something?
no! we want freuse.com to be as simple as possible. all you have to do is go to your city, click "new post", and let everyone know what you want or what your giving away. easy!
aren't there sites like this already out there?
why yes there are. unfortunately, by our estimation, they are generally poorly designed and/or poorly run. our goal is to make something not only functional, but also very easy to use. we also hope to expand into as many cities as possible, even more than the other guys, so that everyone will be able to freuse stuff.
